I am enamoured by the story of Corn Dollies, which inspired this collection. Traditionally, they are woven from corn or wheat and they can be simple or intricate and detailed.

Corn Dollies were made at harvest time from the last sheaf of corn cut. The corn would then be woven into a figure and kept as a good omen until it was ploughed back into the field the following year. It is said that this would bring good fortune for a bountiful harvest.

Lovers would often exchange them as a token of affection, making them the perfect birthday, holiday or anniversary gift for your significant other.

Each is handmade to order, making them unique and individual.
